Robert Lee Kendrick, age 59, of Dorchester, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2022.  He was the husband of Tammy (Spillane) Kendrick.  Born in Alabama, he was the son of the late Willie Lee Splunge and Alzetta Kendrick.  He was a self -employed painter and contractor.  Robert enjoyed his time with his children.  With his nurturing nature, and being proud of what he had, he made fatherhood look easy.  He is survived by seven children, Ja'qua, Jessica, Little Robert, Heaven, Skylar, Zayvion and Malachi.  Between paternal and maternal siblings, Robert had on his mother's side, Hossie, Georgia, Diane, Willie, Lugene, Charlie, Tommy and Hose'a and siblings pre-deceased him; including Mary, Ada, Harvest, Winston Sr. and David Sr., and on his father's side, he leaves 6 brothers, 8 sisters and was pre-deceased by 2 brothers and 1 sister.  He is also survived by several grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.  Visitation will be held in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington Street, Lynn, on Thursday, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
