Robert Wolfgang, age 62, of Revere, formerly of Lowell, died January 26, 2016, following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Nguyet (Nguyen) Wolfgang. Born and raised in Lowell, MA; he was the son of the late Andrew and Elizabeth (Conlon) Wolfgang.
Mr. Wolfgang was a graduate of Suffolk University and earned his Masters at George Washington University. From 1994-1999, he was employed as Director of International Trade for the City of Boston. He later worked as a State Ranger at the Massachusetts State House.
Bobby was a history buff; he enjoyed reading it and enacting it. He was a member of the Revere Historical Society and Chairman of the Massachusetts Civil War Sesquicentennial Commission. He was a football fan and favored the Green Bay Packers. He also enjoyed travelling.
In addition to his wife, he leaves two daughters, Heidi Dukeshire & her husband Scott of Methuen and Kelly True & her husband Scott of Uxbridge. He was the g1andfather of Samuel and Jacob True and Nolan Dukeshire and brother of Eileen Reid of Nashua , NH, James Wolfgang of Rhode Island and Andrew Wolfgang Jr. of Andover.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10AM at St. Anthony's Church, 250 Revere St., Revere, followed by burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Tewksbury. Visitation: Friday, 4-8 P.M. at Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn.
