Roger W. Moreau, 52 passed away Sunday January 23, at Salem Hospital following a brief illness. He was the loving fiancé of Gina (Lopresti) Bates.  Born in Salem and raised in Lynn he was the son of the late Robert C.  and Mildred (Gauthier) Moreau and the brother of the late Robert C Moreau Jr.  Roger is survived by his son Anthony Moreau and Fiancé Lyna Dep, grandchildren Jaylee Dep and Dasaan Moreau, of Peabody.  His son Corey Moreau of Lynn, Rogers Former wife, and beloved mother of their children Joely Moreau of Lynn.  He leaves his sister Debra (Moreau) Auger and her husband Brian, his nephew Ryan and niece Erin Auger of Westford MA.   In addition to his fiancé Gina, her sons Joshua, and Jonathan Bates of Beverly, Aunts, Uncles and cousins and many friends.  Born in Salem raised in Lynn, he graduated from Lynn English High School. He worked at Randy's Department store in Lynn as a young adult, and then moved on to a career at Veolia/ Suez Lynn regional wastewater treatment facility where he worked for 34 years.  Roger took pride in the time he served as a chief steward for the local IUE/CWA local 201 Lynn.  Roger also coached Lynn shore little league in the mid to late 90's and was also assistant Basketball coach for the boys and girls club of Lynn.  He was a big fan of the Lynn English Bulldogs, enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his fiancé and friends. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.
