Rose Mary Travers, "Rosey", age 87, passed away after a lengthy battle of health issues.  She is proceeded in death by her husband William J. Travers and son William P. Travers.  Born in Cambridge but a longtime resident of Lynn.  Rose was a former employee of the Star Market.  Rose was a lover of her BINGO and card games.  She also enjoyed cooking for everyone, especially her grand and great grandchildren.  She is survived by her daughters, Joanne Young and Kathy Travers of Lynn, her sons, John Travers of Rochester, NY and Mark Travers of San Antonio, TX, her sister Joan Flannery of Salisbury and brother Mike Solano of Plymouth and the late Frank Solano of Cambridge.  Rose was blessed with 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild that filled her home and heart with many joyful memories.

Rose never liked being the center of attention, therefore, no funeral service will be held and will be private.  Those desiring may make memorial donations to St. Jude Hospital.  Goodrich Funeral Home, Lynn.
