Ruben Colli Ramos, 68, of Champotón, Campeche passed away at home on Tuesday, October 18th, 2022 surrounded by his loved ones.

Ruben was born on April 7th, 1954 in Champotón, Mexico to Santo Ruben Ramos and Maria Edith Colli Ramos.

Ruben was a great man. He was a loving husband to his wife of 50 years. He was a dedicated father, a loving grandfather, great grandfather and a loyal friend - the best anyone could ever ask for. He never passed judgment and saw the best in everyone. He was always willing to help others out regardless of the situation.

Ruben was very hardworking and strong-willed. He was passionate about his goals and dreams and went after all of them. He came to America to build a better life for his wife and children. His lifelong dream was to give his wife and children the life that he did not have growing up, and he more than succeeded in making that dream a reality. He left his legacy behind to his three children, all of which possess the same hardworking, dedicated personality that he had.

He owned many restaurants in Waco, Texas and in the Boston area of Massachusetts. He was known amongst his friends and family as " El Campeche" .  He's known for his excellent baking skills and his cooking. He particularly enjoyed spending time in the kitchen, passing down his wisdom to his children and to his grandchildren.

Ruben is survived by his mother, two brothers, two sisters, his wife of 50 years, Juanita, his children son Eleazar,  daughter Lorena and her husband David and their four children Mercedes, Josiah and his girlfriend Ashely, David and their adopted daughter Sabrina.  Son Victor and his wife Lori with their eight children and thirteen grandchildren, Jasmine and her four children Paula, Nathaniel, Sofia and her youngest Khai. His son Victor Jr. and his wife Sandra with their two children Isaiah and Hazel. Cierra and her son Rome. Alanis and her husband Andy.  David and his daughter Aylani. Micheal and wife Abby daughter Aaleiya, and their late sweet angel Angelo. DeAnna and her children Armani, Augustine, and Aaliyah. Lastly their youngest Jacob.   Ruben also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, three brothers, and a sister.

A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, October 26th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Goodrich Funeral Home in Lynn, Massachusetts. Pastor Guzman will be officiating. Friends and family are welcome to attend the service.
