We celebrate the life of Sandra Curtis ( Parks ) A blessing to many lives born on 02/24/1947. Called home to her higher power on 07/27/2021
Sandra was the daughter of the late George and Evelyn Parks, May god rest their souls.
Sister to the late Jeannie Elizabeth McNaughton, another of Gods Angels called home too soon.
The mother of the late Robert Palombi, God rest his soul.
She is survived by her Beloved husband Daniel Curtis sr.
Her brother, George Parks jr.
Her children, Kimberlyann Rapaglia, George Petrakis, Daniel Curtis jr. Danielle Scanlon, Jackie Lee, Michael Boivin, Richard Forrest and Lawrence Greene.
Her Grandchildren Lisa, Teresa, Cheyann, Nikkita, Seth, Jackie, Courtney, Dimitri, Darius, Deina, Austin, Aubree, Brianna, Jahqueen, Kristy, and Katie.
Her great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and more from her extended family.
Sandra lived her life on her own terms. She was a tough woman that was not afraid to speak her mind and fought fiercely to protect those that she loved. No sacrifice was too great for Sandra, and no reward too small.
Sandra loved to feed her "children" during the years she spent working with the local school systems as the head of the food services. She successfully ran a Truck tire repair business with her beloved husband untill health issues forced its closure.
You could always count on Sandra to give you the Truth and her Honest opinion without malice. She felt that with truth you could face any obstacle and over come it.
Sandra was Loved and Respected by all who knew her. She felt that every saint had a past, and every sinner a future, and therefore was almost always willing to offer second chances.
Sandra was not perfect, but she was honorable and loving.
Her life was cut short due to a lengthy illness, but she never gave up hope, and with the help of her oldest daughter Kimberly, she found strength and reason to smile.
Though her passing will be mourned, and her fire sorely missed, We ask that you celebrate her Life and her Accomplishments, and know that she passed peacefully and on her own terms.
You will be missed, but your memory will live forever in our hearts. Rest in peace sweet angel until we are reunited in the afterlife.
