On July 9, 2026, at 1:29 p.m., surrounded by the love of his family, we said our final goodbye to Hing Saroeun. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, and friend whose strength, kindness, and unwavering love touched everyone who knew him. Our father faced every challenge with remarkable courage and determination. He battled kidney failure for over 15 years, enduring dialysis with incredible resilience, until receiving the gift of a kidney transplant in 2023, which gave him a renewed chance at life. He continued to receive care with hope and perseverance.

On May 30th, 2026, he was admitted to Salem Hospital and later transferred to Massachusetts General Hospital, where he spent more than 45 days in the intensive care unit. Despite multiple surgeries and countless complications, he never stopped fighting. In his final moments, surrounded by his wife, children, and loved ones, he peacefully said his farewell.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Chhoum Moeung; his children, Chanthan Hing, Channthoeun Hing, Timothy Arsenault (son-in-law ) Chanthib Hing, Jennifer Bou (daughter-in-law) and Chamroeun Hing, Sara Ross (daughter-in-law ) ; his adopted children, Khlung Chhay and Sokha Chhay; and his cherished grandchildren, Amelia Horn, AnaBelle Horn, Jairred Hing, Nessa Hing, Sophia Hing, and Leah Hing. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing that his suffering has ended and that his legacy of love, strength, compassion, and perseverance will live on through his family. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. May he now rest in eternal peace.
