Sharon Ann Tyler, age 56, of Lynn, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016 following a lengthy illness. She was the fiancée of Edward "Ted" Rooney, with whom she shared fifteen years. Born in Framingham and a lifelong resident of Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Roger and Jeannette Tyler. Prior to her retirement, she was employed with Verizon for more than twenty five years. She was a movie buff and enjoyed music, dancing and laughter. She also enjoyed her friends at the Brandy Barrel and the Pelican. In addition to her fiancé, she is survived by six step brothers and sisters, her best friends Patti Johnson and Dolly Linnell, her extended family and her cat "Precious". Her funeral service will be held in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn, on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation is Monday, 4-7 p.m.
