Stephen "The Vaseman" Vaczy
1955-2024
Stephen Walter Vaczy 69 years of Lynn, MA passed away on Wednesday December 18th surrounded by loves ones after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Frankfurt, Germany and raised in Lynn, MA. He was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School and a proud member of the Army National Guard. He was a professional floor and carpet installer, having his own business and partnering with other companies. He was very proud of his work and loved to help people. He was an avid Boston sports fan and a long-time bowling league member. He was a foodie and loved to try all new and different dishes, his kids would say he had an iron stomach. He also loved to cook for his kids and grandkids especially making homemade pizzas. He was a big fan of rock bands with Queen being his favorite one. He was the husband of the late Colleen M. (Dow) Vaczy and the father to Stephen Vaczy and his wife Melissa Vaczy of Dorchester, Stephanie Vaczy of Lynn, Caron Vaczy of Lynn, Karissa Vaczy and her wife Lena Vaczy of Athol. He was the grandfather to Christian, Kai, Nicholas, Nyomie, Jordyn, Damien and Loralei and great grandfather to Kenniel, Jadiel and Alexander. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martha and Kenneth Vaczy, his sister Kathy and his brother Albert. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, sisters Eileen and Geraldine, brother Kenny, close nephew Richie along with many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Stephen was very loved and will live on in our hearts and memories.
