Susan Carol Marchesini (née Cole), born in Salem, Mass on a Tuesday August 27, 1963, passed away in the city of her birth on November 4, 2022. She was 59 years old.

Susan "Susie", daughter to Rita Cole (née Flanagan) and Richard G. Cole, is survived by her beloved mother, longtime partner David Swanson, her three sons Ryan, Joseph, & Jason, devoted siblings, numerous nieces & nephews, grandchildren, her previous spouse, and caring family friends.

Susie was born the youngest to a family of six. Her adoring siblings Cathy, Richie, Tommy, Debbie, and Ruby always looked out for Susie, and are a close-knit family. Susie went to high school in Salem and later became a homemaker to her three young boys. She lived in Lynn for most of her life and took pride in the local community.

Susie was a woman of faith and spirituality, of belief in God. She understood the importance in being kind to one another. Susie filled her life with music and especially enjoyed sixties classical melodies. She was an occasional collector of vinyl records, a lover of animals, who looked forward to afternoon tea and conversations with family. Cats and dogs were always a part of her home. Susie struggled with her physical and mental illness, but never let it define her path. She was generous with her heart and empathetic to all. Susie would make people feel loved.

Susie's surviving family held her hands in those final hours together.
