Tammy Marie (Calef) Vaczy of Worcester, a beloved nurse's aide and compassionate caregiver, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2025 at the age of 54.  She was the beloved wife of Richard Vaczy.  Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of Fredrick Calef Jr. (Bernice) and Virginia Calef, all of Lynn.   Tammy dedicated 35 years to providing comfort and care to patients at numerous Nursing Homes throughout the Lynn and Worcester areas. Known for her amazingly strong work ethic (specifically during the pandemic putting her patient's care and safety first during trying times), her stylish way of dressing, her ability to adapt and relate without judgement to all walks of life; Tammy always had many friends from all places.  In addition to her husband and parents, Tammy is survived by her sons, Michael Calef of Salem and Matthew Vaczy of Worcester, her sister Kimberly Woodard (Russell) and her niece Ava Woodard of Lynn, her brother Fredrick Calef III of Lynn, as well as many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. Her Funeral Service will be held in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington Street, Lynn, on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at 12:30 p.m.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. and burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Stroke Foundation www.stroke.org
