Thelma A. (Libby) Gilbert, age 78, of Lynnfield, passed away January 4, 2019.  She was the wife of John R. Gilbert.  In addition to her husband, Thelma is survived by her son, Eric Gilbert of Danvers, her brother, Mel Libby of South Carolina, her sister, Carole Malley of Middleboro, several nieces and nephews and friends.  Her funeral will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the Cliftondale Congregational Church, 50 Essex St., Saugus.  Visitation is also Monday, beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn.  Her burial will be at a later date in Scarboro, Maine.
