Thomas J. Eichel Sr. passed away at the age of 62 on Monday, August 13, 2018 in his home surrounded by family.  Thomas was a longtime Lynn resident.  He was born at Lynn Hospital on November 12, 1955 to Earl Eichel and Dorothy Rydell.  Thomas was a lifetime resident of Lynn.  Thomas graduated from Lynn Tech in 1974.  He worked as a chef for Montes for over 30 years.  Thomas leaves behind his wife MaryAnn (Winchell) Eichel, with whom he shared 41 years of marriage.  He also leaves behind his son, Tomas Eichel Jr. of Lynn and his two daughters, Melissa and Christina Eichel, both of Lynn, 4 grandsons who he loved dearly, Michael Cuff, Angelo Macaya Jr., Miguel Vizcaino and Aaron Robinson, all of Lynn, his brother Kenneth and sister Patricia.  Visitation will be held in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn on Thursday, 2:00 – 6:00 p.m.
