IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Tracy "Nonnie"
Ann Ventura
September 4, 1969 – November 4, 2023
Tracy Ventura, entered into rest on Saturday, November 4, 2023. She was born in Lynn, Massachusetts on September 4, 1969 to Judith Webster and the late Richard Ventura.
As the oldest daughter of 6 children, Tracy took her role as "big sis" seriously. She proudly assisted her mother with caring for her brothers and younger sister, and oftentimes took on the responsibilities of cooking, cleaning and helping with other household duties. Tracy loved her siblings dearly and shared a special bond with her only sister Paula Rodgers (Ventura).
Tracy attended Lynn Public Schools throughout her adolescent years. She loved to learn, and most importantly cherished the lifelong school-friendships she made over the years. After achieving her high school equivalency, Tracy pursued post-secondary education and received a certification as a Home Health Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant. She spent many years working in nursing homes, assisting the elderly population. Tracy loved helping people and provided her patients with excellent care. After a few job transitions, Tracy found excitement and joy working at Legends Restaurant in the TD Garden Arena. She loved the fun, fast-past environment, and the opportunity to be witness to famous sporting events and concerts. Working at the TD Garden Arena gave Tracy great happiness. She took pride in serving her customers, and being a team-player and mentor to her co-workers.
Tracy loved her community. She took pride in her city (Lynn), and believed in getting involved and giving back. Tracy was the Founder and President of the Lynn Chargers Football and Cheerleading organization in Lynn. She was beyond excited to bring the first youth football league to Lynn that did not have weight limit restrictions. The Chargers Football organization allowed so many youths from the community the opportunity to play football. Tracy also served as the Vice President and President of the West Lynn Pop Warner organization for many years.
Tracy was fun-loving and enjoyed having a good time. She liked listening to good music and dancing. Anyone who knew Tracy, could not deny her love for slow jams and old school R & B music. Tracy was an old soul with a huge heart and a high-spirited personality.
Tracy enjoyed gathering with family and friends for holidays and special occasions. She could also be found in the kitchen cooking up a delicious meal for her family and friends. Tracy loved and cherished her family with all her heart, and particularly adored her six children. Jose, Chad, Michael, Keenna, O'Dell Jr. and Kayvon were her greatest accomplishments, and they all held a special place in Tracy's heart. She was a proud mother- always boasting about their success in life and their achievements. Tracy also took much joy in the honor of being a grandmother. She would do anything for her grandkids and they loved her.
Tracy is survived by her sons, Jose Quintana Jr., Michael Quintana, Chad Quintana, Odell Tiggs Jr. and Kayvon Tiggs, and daughter, Keenna Quintana. Tracy is also survived by her mother Judith, her sister Paula, and brothers Richard Ventura, Joseph Ventura, Anthony Dyer and Shad Ventura. Tracy also leaves behind her granddaughters, Leela, Bria, Laylahni, Melanie, Kiyomi and Aryia, grandsons, Amauri, Adriel, Kameron and Michael Lucas and nieces, Alicia and Angelique and one nephew, baby Shad.
Tracy's beautiful smile, friendly welcoming nature and boisterous personality will forever be missed.
