Velma Brock sadly passed away at her home on January 10, 2024 at the age 74. Born on June 21,1949 in Hughes, Arkansas, to the late Theodos and Mary Ella Brock.

She is survived by five children, Tyrone Cheers and his wife Allison of Saugus, MA, Bridget Robinson of Salem, MA, Nicole Robinson of Danvers MA, Denise Palavicini and her husband William of Haverhill, MA and Melinda Robinson of Durham, NC. Her five grandchildren Laticha, Alaysia, Kianna, Dasia and Deshawn, and her brothers, sisters, numerous nieces, nephews and a multitude of friends.

She was a member of Eagle Heights Cathedral in Revere, MA. She loved being around people and enjoyed spending time volunteering with her dear friends at the Food Pantry. She also enjoyed shopping, you could often find her at Savers or Salvation Army. She was a strong-willed, independent woman who lived life on her own terms until her final moments.

Service Information: Visitation and funeral services will be held at Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington Street, Lynn, MA 01902, on Friday, January 19, 2024, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
