Vincent passed away peacefully at the Kaplan Family Hospice House on November 16, 2022.

He was born on September 5, 1932 in Lynn, preceded in death by his father, Vincent Capano, and his mother Evelyn (Gallucci) Capano.

He is survived by his children, Thomas Capano of Topsfield and Christine (Tina) Sylvester of Tewksbury.

He leaves his brothers, Richard Capano of Somerville and Gerald Capano of Lynn…his grandchildren, Gina Capano and her fiancé Saverio Fulciniti of Peabody, Sophia Sylvester of Wilmington, and Nicholas Sylvester of Tewksbury, as well as a niece and nephew, and many cousins.

He was a lifelong resident of Lynn, having attended Lynn Schools and graduating from Lynn Classical High School, class of 1951.

Vinny served in the United States Army in the Korean War.

He was a Master Plumber owner/operator of his own plumbing business and was employed by the City of Lynn for many years.

He loved his trips to Encore, watching Patriots games, and enjoying classic movies on TV…and in his younger days, was an avid bowler.

Per Vincent's request, there will be no funeral or memorial service.

If so desired, donations may be made in his memory to Nashoba Learning Group , an adult day program for individuals with Autism, attended by Vinny's grandson, Nicholas.
