Virginia Vigliotti Sokol , born January 3, 1939 in Dorchester, passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 following a lengthy illness. She lived her life to the fullest and loved to say she did it her way. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Murphy of Quincy, her four daughters, Angela McEwen of Leonardtown, MD, Robin Phillips of Rochester, NH, Virginia Lowrey of Rochester, NH, and Sue Huggins of Limerick, Maine, her grandchildren, Michelle McEwen, Justin Vigliotti, Nicole Matterson, Patrick Lowrey, Allie Phillips and Michael Lowrey and her great grandchildren, Anthony Matterson and Tyler Matterson. She is predeceased by her husband William Sokol and her father Cecile Campbell. Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, 10:00 – 12:00 in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
