Walter Golowka, of Lynn, died on July 27, 2021, after a sudden and unexpected illness.  Walter lived with many physical challenges, but his generous and caring heart nurtured many friends.  He will be remembered for his smile, quick laugh and love of family.  Walter leaves a brother Edward Golowka of Somerville, a sister Christine Detzel of Tewksbury, a sister Janice Kindler and her husband Steve of Rowley, his nephews James Kindler, Jon Kindler and his fiancée Carolyn Ruzanski, Jason Detzel and his wife Laura and Ryan Detzel and his wife Angela.  He was a loving grand-uncle to Cora, Zoe and Cooper Detzel.

Walter will be resting with his mother and father in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn, where a private family service will be held Wednesday, August 4, 2021.  A celebration of his life will be held in the Kindler residence in Rowley at 1:00 p.m.  Please call for details.
