Obituary

Mrs. Wanda Jean Newhall, age 72, of Lynn MA, formerly of Revere MA passed away early August 22, 2024. She passed at home peacefully with family by her side after dealing with lengthy illnesses. Born March 21, 1952, Fishing Creek MD. She was the daughter of the late Richard and Kathleen Hammond. She was the wife of the late Joseph Gaudreau and the late William T. Newhall. She is survived by her 6 children: William Newhall, Shawn Newhall and his wife Michelle, Melissa Addario, Jonathan Newhall and his wife Jessica, Eric Gaudreau and his wife Sakina, and Kendra Newhall. She is survived by siblings Frederick, Cheryl, Richard, and Christine. She was the sister of the late Kathy, infant Frankie, and Michael Hammond. She is survived by 26 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.  Much beloved and blessed with a large family and many grandchildren, she was a strong willed individual, never bending to any person's will. She loved animals and nature, from her finches and felines to her canines and potted plants. She loved the hustle and bustle of the Revere flea market and dolls. Wanda also loved her cop shows, dinners and casual time with her sons and daughters, sleepovers with her favorite granddaughter, and being a free spirit with her grandsons. She was immensely proud of the accomplishments of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Enjoying Family time with children and grandchildren was in her cards or some would say was in her blood just one of the similarities she shared with her mother.
Per Wanda's request, there will be no formal memorial service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the following: Mental Health America (MHA), Friends of Animals, or the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
