William passed away on June 22,2022 after a lengthy illness surrounded by his family.

He was born in Pasadena, CA to the late Francis (Frank) Nelson Sr. and Ruth (Bushby) Nelson. He was a long time resident of Lynn and attended Lynn Public Schools; also a former employee of 14 years at the old Boyd's Potato Chips in Lynn, MA.  He retired with McMillan Transport of N.H. after 14 years.    He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and traveling cross country.

William is survived by his wife Diane(Gillette) Nelson and children Cheri Nelson, Angela (Petropoulos) Kusch and the late Cynthia Nelson, Steven Nelson, and Nicholas Petropoulos.

He leaves behind his brothers Rick Nelson and his girlfriend Kerri Dinan, Wayne Nelson and his wife Lynda Nelson, and his sister Elizabeth (Betty) Lowe and her husband Tom Lowe. Brother of the late Francis (Frank) Nelson Jr. and his wife Lorraine Nelson.

He leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends.
