Yvonne Bernice Baker, daughter of the late Alice Verdine Baker and Donald Everett Baker, Sr., was peacefully called home on December 20, 2016.
Yvonne was born and raised in Lynn and attended Lynn schools, graduating from Lynn English High School. Yvonne moved to Minnesota where she resided for three years before returning to Lowell, MA to be with her extended family and friends. Yvonne became a PCA/Aide, bringing care and joy to all that she met and to the many challenged individuals through many organizations she focused on.
Yvonne was the mother to Christopher Sullivan Baker and a lifetime friend of Peter Sullivan. Yvonne was the loving sister to Mary Jones Campagna, Deonne Jones Nelson, Robin A. Baker, Shelby Homer Jones, Donald E. Baker, Jr., Randy Jones and Gladys G. Baker Ellis. She leaved behind many friends in Lowell, MA, nieces, nephews, cousins, and family in Minnesota, Texas, and Nevada. As we, the friend and family of Yvonne, bid her farewell this evening, we pray that all of her friends find solace in their hearts as we, the family, share your pain and continue to stay strong. We pray that Peace will be with all of you at this difficult time.
